Abstract
Roads are land transportation infrastructure intended for vehicle, human and animal traffic, where the entirety of the road, such as equipment and supporting buildings, is also intended for traffic purposes to support national development. Apart from roads being able to support economic aspects, they also support various other aspects in terms of development, which means that good planning of roads is needed so that it is useful for supporting those aspects. This research aims to analyze the type and extent of pavement damage, assess the level of road damage and determine what maintenance program to use. The methods chosen are PCI (Pavement Condition Index) and Bina Marga Method. Then it was found that on the Rajasa STA 00+000 to 02+000 road sections the types of damage were holes, edge cracks, longitudinal cracks, crocodile skin cracks, and patches. Through the PCI method, an average index value of 55.73 was obtained, which shows that this road is classified as good. Meanwhile, using the Bina Marga method, a priority order of 7.8 is obtained, meaning the road is in the routine maintenance criteria. Handling carried out based on the Practical Guidelines for Routine Maintenance of roads (1990) in the form of paving (P2), filling cracks (P4), patching holes (P5), leveling (P6). So it is better to immediately repair the pavement surface so that the damage does not get worse.
