Abstract
The asphalt concrete layer (laston) consists of a mixture of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler and binder/asphalt. With increasing road construction, the need for basic materials for asphalt mixtures is also increasing, so that one day it is feared that their availability will run out. In this research, teak wood dust was used as a substitute for filler in the AC-WC mixture. The manufacture of test objects was carried out in the laboratory using asphalt with a penetration of 60/70. The planned asphalt content used is 5%; 5.5%; 6%; 6.5% and 7% produce an Optimum Asphalt Content of 6%. The results of the correlation comparison in terms of standard fillers show that the teak sawdust ash filler has decreased in terms of stability and flow values, namely - 1.617% and- 0,012%.
