Abstract
Parking is a problem that is often encountered in terms of transportation, especially in locations that have high activity, one of which is in a hospital. In this final project, we will discuss the analysis and the need for parking space in Bajawa Hospital. The availability of parking space at the Bajawa Hospital is often insufficient to meet the required parking needs. So it is necessary to evaluate the need for parking space by analyzing the characteristics of existing parking. The method applied in this study was to conduct a direct survey in the field including recording the entry and exit of vehicle plates to obtain vehicle data. From the vehicle data an analysis is carried out to obtain parking volume, accumulation, duration, parking capacity, parking availability and parking turnover rate as well as parking index. The results of the study obtained parking characteristics which included: the maximum parking duration was 487.2 minutes for motorcycles and 448.8 minutes for cars, the average duration of motorcycles was 269.4 minutes and the average duration of cars was 150 minutes. The accumulation of motorcycle parking is 97 vehicles and for car parking is 49 vehicles. The maximum parking volume for motorcycles is 143 vehicles/hour and for cars is 77 vehicles/hour. The parking index for motorcycles is 1.49 and for cars is 3.27. Motorcycle parking turnover is 2.20 times and for cars is 5.13 times. The static capacity at the Manyar Campus is 65 SRP for motorcycles and 15 SRP for cars. Occupancy for motorbikes is 149.23% and for cars is 326.67%. The need for parking space (KRP) that must be provided for motorcycle and car parking is 107 SRP and 54 SRP. From the results of the analysis of the overall calculation, it can be concluded that the existing parking space capacity is not sufficient, there is still a shortage of 42 SRP for motorbikes and 39 SRP for cars.
