Abstract
Non-sand concrete is a simple form of lightweight concrete which in itsmanufacture does not use sand, because it does not use sand, the specific gravity ofconcrete becomes lighter. But non-sand concrete has the disadvantage that it has atight compressive strength, therefore pumice filler is used to increase thecompressive strength of non-sand concrete. Making non-sand concrete made frompumice filler material made with water-cement factor and aggregate gradationagainst the compressive strength of non-sand concrete. The specimen used is a cylinder with a size of 15 x 30 cm and will be testedfor compressive strength at the age of 28 days. There are 36 specimens divided into4 populations. The variation of cement water factor used is 0.4, 0.45, and 0.5 whilethe variation in aggregate gradation used is GB 5 mm, GB 10 mm and GB 20 mmwith pumice material filler content of 15%. Compressive strength testing of non-sand concrete is carried out using Compression Testing Machine test equipmentbased on ASTM C39 standard. The results showed that non-sand concrete test objects with the influence of fas variations of 0.4, stone gradation of 5 mm and pumice filler content of 15% had thehighest average compressive strength of 26.61 Mpa. While normal concrete testspecimens without filler have the highest average compressive strength of 12.74Mpa using 0.5 fas and 20 mm stone gradation. So it can be concluded that in thisstudy the cement water factor (FAS) 0.4 and stone gradation of 5 mm have thehighest compressive strength value of non-sand concrete.
