Abstract
Kebonagung Highway - Pakisaji Highway is a 2-lane, 2-way undivided road that connects the Malang City area with Malang Regency as an alternative route and a combination of various areas, namely consisting of the sugar factory
industry, cigarette factory industry, fertilizer industry and concrete industry. As for other areas, namely trade areas and residential areas. The area of Kebonagung Highway - Pakisaji Highway is 6 km long, 7.40 m wide, left shoulder width 1.70 m, right shoulder width 2.20 m and roadside drainage 1.65 m. On the 6 km long Kebonagung Highway - Pakisaji Highway there has been a decline in road quality. This is because on Kebonagung Highway - Pakisaji Highway there
is some damage that has occurred, such as potholes, cracks and several parts of the road that have collapsed.
In this research, the method used to analyze data is using the SDI method, namely by conducting a survey in the field and the survey results are divided into several segments. The damage seen includes cracking, rutting, potholes or
patching, surface hardness and depression. To get these results, we need data on the dimensions of road damage that have been studied in the form of data on the length of damage and the width of the road damage that occurred. From the a nalysis obtained, the condition of damage on the Kebonagung Highway - Pakisaji Highway section showed a damage presentation of 68% in good condition, 14% in moderate condition, 7% in slightly damaged condition and 11% in heavily damaged condition. Therefore, because the results of the presentation of damage are minimal and good pavement conditions are the most common among the comparisons, there is a routine maintenance effort to repair/handle the Kebonagung Highway - Pakisaji Highway section
