Abstract
Concrete is a material that is familiar and is most often used in the world of construction. The materials used consist of fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, potland cement and water. Concrete has a very heavy own weight. So innovation is needed so that the own weight of concrete in buildings becomes lighter by removing sand from the concrete mixtur e or it is called non-sand concrete. As a result of leaving sand, the compressive strength of non-sand concrete is very low because it has many cavities in the concrete. One way to increase compressive strength and fill air voids in concrete is glass powder filler. The compressive strength of non-sand concrete is greatly influenced by the gradation of coarse aggregate, the water-cement factor and the addition of filler. This study aims to determine the effect of coarse aggregate gradation, cement water factor and filler additives on non-sand concrete. This study plans non-sand concrete using glass powder filler. The method of this study was to compare the compressive strength of population 1 normal non-sand concrete, population 2 non-sand concrete with 5 mm GB glass powder filler, population 3 non-sand concrete with 10 mm GB glass powder filler, population 4 non-sand concrete with glass powder filler GB 20mm. The water-cement factor for each non-sand concrete with a glass powder filter has a fas variation of 0.4; 0.45; 0.5. and the constant variables are cement aggregate ratio 2:1, 15% filler content and 8% fly ash. In this study, 36 specimens were cylindrical in shape with a size of 15 x 30 cm. Testing the compressive strength of non-sand concrete was carried out using a Compressing Testing Machine (CTM).
The results of this test show that in population 2 the use of 5 mm stone gradations, the variation in the cement water factor is 0.4giving the highest compressive strength value of 27.36 Mpa. The optimum water-cement factor value and the best aggregate gradation in this study were non-sand concrete with 5 mm graded glass powder filler and 0.4 cement water factor.
