Abstract

Malang City is known as a city of education supported by a variety of complete educational facilities ranging from elementary to college levels. As a city of education, the need for transportation such as motorized vehicles is very high. In
an effort to prevent congestion due to the large number of motorized vehicles, the Malang city government took the initiative to provide free school bus services for students. In its operation, this bus must of course be balanced with supporting facilities, one of which is a bus stop. A bus stop is a temporary stop for loading and unloading passengers equipped with certain facilities. The data in this study
were obtained from direct survey results at the research location. After the data is collected, then the data is tested using the Set Covering Problem (SCP) method with the help of Lingo 19.0 software. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there are 14 school bus stops to be built in Malang City on route 1 and route 6, which can cover the area around the bus stop to be built.
