Abstract

Given the increasing demand for materials along with the number of road constructions in East Nusa Tenggara Province, it is hoped that there will be sources other alternative materials can be used as a mixture forming Laston (ACWC). Based on reason The authors conducted research on the coarse aggregate material to be used from two different locations, namely from Aemau and Wae Mese. This study uses an experimental method, namely with an experiment to get results. The results of the study are the aggregate characteristics of the aggregate Aemau stone and Wae Mese coarse aggregate meet the specifications of Bina Marga. Results characteristic test Marshall for rock coarse aggregate to obtain Stability
value 1115,667 kg, Flow 4 mm, VIM 3%, VMA 17%, VFB 80% and MQ 318kg/mm. Whereas for Wae Mese coarse aggregate stability value is 961.122 kg, Flow 3 mm, VIM 4.4%, VMA 16% VFB 78% and MQ 301 kg/mm. Conclusion from this research: Characteristics of coarse aggregate Aemau meets the standard of SNI 8198:2015 to be used as a reference. Comparison test Marshall for Laston AC-WC mixture using Aemau Stone coarse aggregate and Wae Mese coarse aggregate shows that the Marshall parameters meet the Construction Specifications Clan.
