Abstract
Fine aggregate is one of the materials used in the manufacture of asphalt concrete, fine aggregate includes sand consisting of several types, namely naturalsand (in the form of mountain sand, river sand, and beach sand), artificial sandproduced from shards and grain separation by filtration. or other means of rock. Soin the process of this research, fine aggregate is used using natural sand using sandfrom Danar Village, Southeast Maluku Tenggara In this research, the specification of the asphalt mixture used is the Asphalt Concrete-Wearning Course (AC-WC) which is a layer on the road pavement construction. By using standard sand as anadditive in the Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course mixture using the optimum asphalt content of 6% obtained from the preliminary test results, then 25 test objects(5x5) were made.
In calculations that have been known in the correlation method, the stability value obtained has increased, namely the 100% variant of Danar Village sand has increased to 2.957%, 75% standard sand: 25% Danar Village sand has increased to1.624%, 50% standard sand: 50 % sand in Danar Village has increased to 2.129% and 25% standard sand: 75% sand in Danar Village has increased to 0.926%. Thenthe value of the melt (flow) variant of 100% Danar Village sand has decreased to 0.999%,75% standards and: 25%Danar Village sand and 50% standards and: 50%Danar Village sand has increased to 0.107% and 0.020%, 25% standard sand variant: 75% Danar village sand has decreased to -0.102%.
