Abstract

This research aims to analyze the safety plan for the construction project of the Tower Ta'miriyah building in Surabaya. This planning aims to create a construction safety
plan using the Construction Safety Management System (SMKK) program and determine the cost of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). The Tower Ta'miriyah building
construction project is located on Jalan Indrapura Number 2 Krembangan, Surabaya. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive analysis method using data collection such as interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature review.
Based on the research results, the Tower Ta'miriyah building construction project in Surabaya by developing a Construction Safety Management System (SMKK) plan that
includes hazard identification according to the implementation method and risk control action planning can identify potential hazards, such as tool contact injuries, being hit by materials, falling from heights, slipping, being exposed to dust, electrocution, being pierced by materials, and contact with concrete. From the SMKK planning, the implementation cost of Rp.816,398,110 or around 4.3% of the total project value of Rp.18,981,046,574 was also obtained, which was used for various risk control measures, such as the use of safety harnesses, installation of hard barricades, safety decks, fall arresters, evacuation routes,
fire extinguishers, additional lighting, as well as cleanliness and neatness management.
