Abstract
AC-WC is a layer on a road pavement construction consisting of a mixtureof hard asphalt and aggregates that has continuous gradations, mixed, scatteredand compacted at a certain temperature. According to Bina Marga Specification2010 Revision 3, all paved mixtures must containfillers. Fillers Used in this studyis the ashes of chicken egg shells.
The variations that will be made are 100% stone ash, 100% chicken eggshell ash, chicken egg shell ash 75%: 25% stone ash, chicken egg shell ash 50%:50% stone ash, chicken egg shell ash 25%: 75% stone ash. The test object testing method uses the Marshallpress test tool. The goal is to know the Stability Valueand The Plastic Fatigue Value(Flow)of each test object. Test objects made with the design percentage of optimal asphalt levels obtained are 6%.
From the results of the overall Marshall Test variation, the use of chickeneggshell ash at variations of 25% and 50% can increase the stability and flow value of AC-WC asphalt. The optimum value of stability and flowis obtained in the useof chicken egg shell ash by 25%.
