Abstract
The Rembang Regency Road section is included in the Pantura national road route and functions as a primary arterial road connecting Pati Regency - Tuban Regency. With the increase in traffic volume, especially vehicles carrying goods and services, there is a significant negative impact on the service capacity of road structures. In fact, with the
current traffic situation, road pavement structures tend to experience damage more quickly.
To determine whether the road is still in good condition now or in the future, it is necessary to know the level of functional condition of the road surface, which is based on the condition and damage that has occurred on the road pavement surface. One method that can be used to assess the condition of road pavement damage is the Pavement Condition Index (IKP). This method provides more detailed measurements for each type of damage that occurs in the road pavement structure. The road damage studied was carried out on the Jalan Lasem - Rembang section at KM SMG 119+500 – 122+500. From the survey results of primary arterial roads on the Jalan Lasem – Rembang section, the following condition results were obtained: the condition of the rigid pavement (concrete) segment of the Kiringan – Gapuro Beach Caruban gas station is good with a IKP value of 80.5 then the condition of the flexible pavement (asphalt)
segment from Gapuro Caruban Beach – Jami Lasem Mosque is medium with a IKP value of 61.35. The treatment used for road maintenance on the Jalan Lasem – Rembang Sta 119+500 – 122+500 section using the Pavement Condition Index (IKP) method is periodic maintenance for rigid pavement (concrete) and structural improvements for flexible pavement (asphalt).
