Abstract

Sumbersari Highway is a secondary class collector road connecting the veteran road to the Gajayana road. The road has a type 2 column 2 directions with the use of the left right side of the road for shops and shopping centers which caused the capacity of the street undergoing changes in accordance with the increase in the population and the economy of the local community so that the utilization of the highway increased. Based on this, it is necessary to study side barriers and traffic performance on the road. In this study using the 2014 road capacity guideline method (PKJI2014). According to research in obtained volume at peak hours Morning traffic (06.00-09.00) occurred on Thursday, December 21, at 07.45-08.45 with a value of 2500 Skr/hour, Day (11.00-14.00) occurs on Wednesday, December 20, at 11.45-12.45 with the value of 2440 Skr/h. Afternoon-Night (16.00-20.00) occur on Monday, December 18, at 16.00-17.00 with a rate of 2424 Skr/hr. For the side barrier class obtain a middle class (S) Morning peak occur on Mondays, December 18 at 07.15-08.15 with a score of 330 incidents/hours. Peak occur in Friday, December 22, at 11.00-12.00 with an estimate of 380 incidents / h. Night peak occurs in Saturday, December 16, at 18.15-19.15 and 18.30-19.30 with a rating of 374 incidents per hour. The highest saturation level of 0.9 occurred on Thursday, December 21 at (07.45- 08.45). Level of service as an (E)-catagory.
