Abstract

The infrastructure construction of high-rise buildings is very much today, due to land limitations and increasing space use. Therefore, building planning is mostly done by planning high-rise buildings. In the planning of building structures, aspects that need to be considered are vertical irregularities and horizontal irregularities. The ratio of height-width in buildings with fisrt soft story is included in vertical irregularities, where vertical irregularities are determined based on variations in the width-height ratio and the presence of first soft story, this can allow for soil deformation that can cause structural shifts when receiving earthquake loads. Therefore, the structure needs to be reviewed regarding the influence of the building height-width ratio with the first soft story.
The structure was modeled into 4 variations of modeling the influence of the building's height-width ratio (H/B). The modeled structure is the ratio H/B=4 (MGHB4) has 30 story, the ratio H/B=2 (MG-HB2) which has 15 story, the ratio H/B=5 (MG-HB5) which has 34 story and the ratio H/B=7 (MG-HB7) which has 47 story. The dynamic analysis used is the analysis of the variety of spectrum responses based on SNI 1726-2019 with the help of SAP2000. The problem under review is how the ratio of building height-width affects the behavior of building structures if they are subject to earthquake loads based on SNI 1726-2019, 1727-2013 and 17271989F. The results of the analysis will be evaluated on each model of the structure against the vibration period, basic shear force, mass participation ratio drift story with analysis earthquake spectrum response.
Based on the theory of structural performance, a structure is said to be safe if it meets the conditions where the vibration period of the structure is the largest, the smallest basic shear force, and the smallest drift story deviation. In the x-directional structure model, the greatest period of vibration in MG-HB7, the smallest base shear force in MG-HB2, the value of the drift story smallest is in MG-HB2. The xdirection building structure model that can be chosen when the first soft story occurs is MG-HB2 because it predominantly meets the requirements of the theory and theavoided building m odel is MG-HB5 because it is inversely proportional to the theoretical hypothesis. Whereas in the building structure model direction y the period of the greatest tremor in MG-HB7, the smallest base earthquake force in MG-HB2, the value of the drift story smallest is in MG-HB2. The y-direction building model that can be chosen when a first soft story occurs is MG-HB2 because it predominantly meets the requirements of the theory. The avoided building model is mg-HB5 because it is inversely proportional to the theory.
