Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of capital expenditure and the effectiveness of PAD on economic growth through regional financial independence in Malacca district, especially at the Bappeda office. This research uses secondary data by conducting direct research in the field by collecting data in the form of archives or documentation in the form of realized monthly data from 2020-2022. The method used in this research is data analysis techniques using SPSS tools. The research results show that capital expenditure and PAD effectiveness have a direct influence on regional financial independence and regional financial independence has a direct influence on economic growth, while capital expenditure and PAD effectiveness have an indirect influence on economic growth.
