Abstract

Hotels are a tourism service industry that prioritizes hospitality to guests from employees with good service quality, which is reflected in their performance. Several factors that affect employee performance include ; transformational leadership style, work motivation, employee performance, and job satisfaction. The study aims to measure the effect of Transformational Leadership Style and Work Motivation on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction. Samples were taken from 93 employees using the census method. Path Analysis Model (SPSS version 23) was used as the analysis technique. The findings revealed that Transformational Leadership Style and Work Motivation significantly impacted employee performance. Job Satisfaction is significantly influenced by transformational leadership style and work motivation. Employee performance is significantly influenced by job satisfaction. Transformational Leadership Style and Work Motivation significantly affect Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction. Transformational Leadership Style is a critical variable at Hotel Ijen Suites Resort and Convention Malang. This will serve as a guide for the management of Hotel Ijen Suites Resort and Convention Malang in developing policies to improve employee performance to meet the goals set.
