Abstract

This research was conducted at the Malang City Regional Finance and Assets Agency office. The purpose of this study was to determine whether education and training (Diklat) and motivation affect the performance of civil servants at the Malang City Regional Finance and Assets Agency Office, both partially and simultaneously. The sample in this study amounted to 49 civil servants at the Malang City Regional Finance and Assets Agency office. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sample technique or census technique. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression method using the SPSS 26 program. The results of this study indicate that the variables of education and training (Diklat) and motivation affect employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination of 35% shows that the variables of education and training (Diklat) and motivation as a whole have an influence of 35% on employee performance while the remaining 65% is influenced by other variables not used in this study.
