Abstract

Company profitability is considered a key factor that is relevant in relation to stock prices, so an understanding of how these variables affect stock value is important for investors and market participants in making investment decisions in the pharmaceutical sector. This study examines the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earning Per Share (EPS) on the stock prices of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020-2022 period. This study used a purposive sampling technique to select a sample of 11 pharmaceutical companies that met certain criteria. Furthermore, multiple regression analysis is used to test the effect of these variables on stock prices. The results showed that Current Ratio (CR) had an impact on stock prices, while Net Profit Margin (NPM) had no effect on stock prices. However, together, the Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earning Per Share (EPS) have an impact on the stock prices of pharmaceutical companies on the IDX during the 2020-2022 period. These findings provide valuable guidance for investors and market participants in making investment decisions in the pharmaceutical sector, as well as providing a basis for further research that can identify other variables that can affect the stock price of pharmaceutical companies.
