Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Malang City are very diverse both in the fields of fashion, food, drinks to handicrafts (crafting). According to data from the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs in Malang, of the 70,000 MSMEs currently available, only 30% have gone online. One obstacle that is often faced by MSMEs (Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises) is the promotion media and customer service of the location and information of the products produced. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a geographic information system for mapping MSMEs in Malang based on the web to support marketing of MSME products and information about the location of MSMEs. The geographic information system used is web-based and utilizes the Google Maps API. The website created consists of the functionality of the UMKM data management process, the process of managing the location of the UMKM distribution based on the point, and the process of managing the UMKM category. With the existence of a geographic information system for mapping MSMEs, it is expected to be able to support the development of MSME businesses in Malang.
