Abstract

The very rapid development of technology encourages the high need for information systems that can help process and display data quickly, accurately and relevant. This also applies to hospital medical record information systems. A medical record is a collection of data that contains a patient's history of disease and past medication written by medical personnel. Recording medical records that are still done manually has a number of shortcomings, such as disorganized grouping of patient medical records or slow decision-making processes in solving a problem. Through the medical record information system, it is expected that it can solve the existing problems so that it can speed up the service process for patients. The medical recordinformation system is designed in the form of a desktop-based application that is used at the counter for storing medical record data for all patients registered at the hospital. Information systems are focused on avoiding errors in data processing, especially in making medical record reports. Based on the research results, the system built is considered to facilitate employee performance in terms of managing patient medical record data and making reports effectively and efficiently.
