Abstract

Technology and Information Systems are crucial elements in the management of an organization or company, especially in terms of resource management. Application of information systems in resource management can help an organization in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and data storage. Merdeka University Malang (Unmer) is a
private higher education institution in Indonesia located in Malang City, East Java. Founded in 1964, Unmer is committed to providing high-quality education and contributing to the development of science and technology. Currently, the university does not have an information
system that discusses staffing and room inventory. This study aims to design a WEB-based information system using the CodeIgniter framework. This study aims to create or design an information system that can handle several needs such as inventory, meeting scheduling, room scheduling and attendance. The results of this research can be used as a reference for further researchers if they want to develop a more complex information system.
