Abstract

In this research aims to develop the automatic fried rice making machine that will be implemented using the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) method, on the temperature control of the stove burner to know the maturity of rice fry that are being
cooked. With the development of technology at this time, many equipments are designed to provide ease for the community one of them is food processing technology, one of the frequent foods in the Indonesian society is fried rice. The purpose of this research is to make automatic fried rice machine system by applying PID method using Arduino Mega 2560. In this research successfully builds and implements the PID method to find the
cooking system and the ideal temperature of cooked rice that results in an error value of 2.59%, 4.68% and 6.21% with an average value of 4.49% error value.
