Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia has an important role in the development of the country, besides that tourism also has an influence on PAD (Regional Original Income) for local governments, Malang Regency is one of the regions in East Java which has very diverse tourism ranging from natural and artificial. from that it is deemed necessary to develop tourism in Malang Regency, Suko Park is one of the natural tourist destinations in Malang Regency, precisely in Sukowilangun Village, Kalipare District, which has a unique attraction, namely a different view when visiting in different months, , if from April to September you will see a wide river because it is directly connected to the Karangkates dam that stems the Brantas river, if in November you will see a stretch of rice fields stretching around the Suko Park area.
The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of the tourism development program in Taman Suko. The purpose of this research is to contribute thoughts and theories about the implementation of public policies through intervention in tourism development programs and community participation.
The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The location used for research is in accordance with the title of the thesis, namely "Implementation of the Village Tourism Destination Development Program (Study on Tourism Awareness Groups in Sukowilangun Village, Kalipare District, Malang Regency)" .
The results of the research show that the implementation of the Tourism Destination Development Program in Sukowilangun Village, Kalipare District, has been going quite well, but there are still some obstacles that become problems in its implementation.
