Abstract

Basically the State needs the role of the Community. The role of society in a country is very important in order to encourage change. In order to expand the role of the state, the state certainly needs income as capital for increasing the effectiveness of development. Of course, in increasing the effectiveness of development, the state must collect levies (taxes and levies) from the people. These levies are what we call taxes and levies. Taxes and levies in a country are very important and necessary, because without state taxes and levies it will be difficult to increase development growth and welfare for its people.
This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research located at the Department of Cooperatives, Industry and Trade, Malang City. Data taken through the process of interviews, documentation and field observations. Through this data collection process the researcher tried to find data according to the research focus.
The effectiveness of collecting market levies is directly related to community satisfaction, especially sales, which of course take advantage of existing facilities. So far, the collection of market fees has been ineffective, as evidenced by the level of community dissatisfaction and good service in the form of facilities and comfort. Therefore, the effectiveness of collecting market levies has actually been going well so far without any problem
