Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) To determine the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the implementation of the Covid-19 Vaccination in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency; 2) Knowing the Authority of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in implementing the Covid-19 Vaccination in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency; 3) knowing the Rights and Responsibilities of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in implementing the Covid-19 Vaccination in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency; 4) Knowing the factors that influence the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the implementation of the Covid-19 Vaccination in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency.
The type of research conducted is a qualitative descriptive type of research. The focus of this research is a discussion of the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD). Research that uses information taken from the Sumbersekar Village Apparatus as well as the Community. And research informants are divided into (1) key informants; (2) the main informant; (3) Additional informants. Data collection techniques Using interviews, observation, and documentation
The results of the study obtained conclusions. 1) The role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, namely A. Mobilizing village government apparatus to socialize the community in the implementation of Covid-19 Vaccination, B. Protecting and encouraging community participation in the introduction of vaccinations, C. Involving in assisting the Government Center for the success of vaccination for the Indonesian population, D. Coordinate the implementation of the covid-19 vaccination; 2) The authority in carrying out Covid-19 vaccination activities in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, namely: A. Providing direction to subordinates or the community, B. Exploring, accommodating, collecting, formulating and channeling community aspirations, C. Supervising the implementation of Covid 19 vaccination activities , D. Making decisions in the process of implementing covid-19 vaccination activities; 3) Rights and Responsibilities BPD (Village Consultative Body) legislative institutions have rights and responsibilities in making a policy. Policies made by the BPD in the form of village regulations or village regulations that apply to all members of the community in the village, as well as the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination is one of the the rights and responsibilities of the BPD because the BPD acts as a public servant; 4) The factors that influence the BPD (Village Consultative Body) in implementing the covid-19 vaccination in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency are divided into two, namely: A. Supporting factors include 1). Availability of manpower on site, 2). Community participation, 3). Government attention B. The inhibiting factor is the problem of some community members who cannot be vaccinated because they have congenital diseases and also pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers who are unable to attend but also the inhibiting factors faced by the Sumbersekar Village Government are people who still do not believe in vaccination
