Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the behavioral determinants of E-Class users at Merdeka University, Malang, especially educators. E-Class is a Learning Management System created by Universitas Merdeka Malang as a means of online-based teaching and learning process. Merdeka University Malang has responded to government policies related to regulations for implementing online formal learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, to measure the success of implementing a new information system in the form of E-Class, the researcher proposes this study in which the application of the UTAUT model is to determine the behavior determinants of E-Class users. This research is an explanatory research with a quantitative approach. This research data is primary data. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with the statistical tool SmartPLS 3.0. The population in this study were all educators at the Merdeka University, Malang. The sample method used is purposive sampling. The results of this study explain that the variables of business expectations and social influences have a positive effect on behavioral intentions. Behavioral intentions have a positive effect on usage behavior. Meanwhile, the variables of performance expectations and facilitation conditions have no effect on behavioral intentions and usage behavior. The modified variable in the form of corona fear also has no effect on the relationship of all independent variables to behavioral intention.
