Abstract
Public Hospital (RSU) Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital is a type B edu-cation owned by local governments Propinsi Jawa Timur. Based on Perda nomor 23 tahun 2002 about the organization and working procedures of the hospital Propinsi Jawa Timur, RSU Dr Saiful Anwar defined as an element supporting the provincial government level with agency, which organizes some of affairs in service and health care. All hospital services has been certified ISO 9001: 2000 including clinical governance in the context of patient safety. To maintain and improve service quality, commitment and cooperation of all the important components are crucial. In this case, the pattern of communication is very important for leaders to build a pair of employees. Therefore, problem studied in this research is " how the com-munication patterns of hospital leaders in building employee paired ? "
This study aims to identify and analyze communications patterns of hospi-tal leaders in building employee paired. Expected that this research can provide a theoretical benefit that is the results of this study can contribute academically in field study of organizational communication public rela-tions whereas in practice the results ofthis research may provide a description and also an input for hospital, especially to RSU Dr Saiful Anwar regarding communications leader in building employee paired.
This research perspective using a qualitative descriptive. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations and documentation. While analyzing the data using an interactive model analysis techniques. Location of the object of research is in .11 JaksaAgung Suprapto No. 02 Malang.
This study has shown that; 1) The leader of Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang have effective communication skills, so as to create paired employees or members, 2) how a leader speaks highly influential on the response to her subordinates; among others can build a strong self-confidence of suborch-nates, 3) to maintain service quality, then the leader of RSSA always convey various information, guidance and evaluation to all employees whether incidental or routine meetings, through the communications media such as Sketsa bulletin, 3 monthly reports, hospital's radio; 4) Communication model of Saiful Anwar Hospital leaders have lifted the atmosphere of trust, open-ness and honesty It is able to generate sympathy and empathy among its employees, or against the leader; 5) efforts which performed by RSSA Malang among others through outbound, comparative study, tour, routine meetings, education and training.
