Abstract

This research discusses the influence of leadership style and achievement motivation
toward the laborperformance at the governmental institution of Ambon.
Objective of research is to analyze the influence of task-oriented leaderhip style and relation oriented leadership style toward the performance of the employee. Result of the analysis shows that the muti-linear regression is significant and it meets the classical assumption of the regression, thereforce the regression model deserves to be applied as an analysis model. The partialinfluence-testing of each independent varable are task oriented leadership style, relation-oriented style, and achievement motivation to ward the emplayeeÂ’s performance. Result of the researchshow that the achievement motivation and relation-oriented leadership style have significant infuence, while the task oriented has insignificant influece
