Abstract

The research tries to analyze the correlation between non-material incentive and the job satisfaction of the administrative staff of the University of Merdeka Malang by employing both descriptive and quantitive analysis. The non-material incentive here includes: staff development, merit system, promotion, and participation variables, the analysis of statistical data has the following results : 1} the staff development proves to be significant (r=0,34; prob=0,000); 2} merit system is not significant at (r=0,233; prob=0,062). Promotion and participation are proved to be significant and not significant respectively at prob 0,098 and prob 0,000.
