Abstract

This study discussed about the effect of consumer's behavior factors on buying decisions in supermarkets in Malang. It aimed to analyze (1) the extent to which consumer's behavior factors including product factor (XI), service (X2), price (X3), promotion (X4), location (X5), and income (X6) effected on the buying decisions in supermarkets in Malang City and (2) to analyze consumer's behavior factors effecting strongly on buying decisions in supermarkets in Malang. Based on the results of regression analysis, collectively the six consumer's behavior factors effected on the buying decisions in supermarkets and the price was the dominant variable effecting the consumer's buying decisions. From the results it was suggested that the supermarkets operators should consider the factors, especially the price factors.
