Abstract
Currently, many employment cases occur. One of them is termination of employment (PHK). Most of the layoffs that occur are purely from the company and there are also some that voluntary laysoffs mean employees resign from the company. One of the causes of the layoffs is that company does not compensate in accordance with the contracts agreed upon by both parties, meaning the company provides compensation or a lower salary.
Compensation is all income in the form of money, goods directly or indirectly received by employees in return for service provided to the company (Hasibuan, 2011). If the compensation is done fairly and optimaly then it will directly affect the performance of employees.
