Abstract
Article aims to study how the positioning work based personality at PT X Surabaya. The background in article is because many individual are less able to understand personality owned as a result of the resulting performance while working less and troubled companies. The company should do to test the potential for intellectual employees and set the standard early personality so that companies are not wrong in determining the appropriate position for prospective employees. The method used is qualitative method that is by doing the interview techniques, the data used in this article is primary data and secondary data. By performing IQ and personality test are to find the suitable employee in accordance with company requirement. Type of personality that is a sanguinis, plegmatis, melancholy and koleris. A sanguinis is a soul that has a high competitive and marketing positions, a plegmatis is a mediator in a problem and are in the position of the Administration, purchase order, production control manager. A melancholy is a detail and are in the position of accountant, internal and external audits. While koleris is a which has the soul of a leader and is in the position of Manager or leader.
