Abstract
Financial distressare a condition where companies experience difficult financial conditions. Financial distress that last for a long time can lead to bankruptcy. In the event of bankruptcy will many parties are harmed, therefore required a predictor model of financial distress. This research was conducted to find out whether there are differences of calculation result between Ohlson, Zmijewski, and Grover models and to find out the most accurate predictor model suitable for use in manufacturing sector companies. The variables used in this study are the models of Ohson, Zmijewski, Grover, and financial distress. The sample is a manufacturing company listed on the IDX period 2013-2016. The sampling technique was done by using purposive sampling technique with total samples obtained as many as 99 companies. The results show that there is difference of calculation result between model Ohlson, Zmijewski, and Grover. Ohlson model predicts 13 companies experiencing financial distress, Zmijewski model predicts 10 companies experiencing financial distress, and Grover model predicts 15 companies experiencing financial distress, and the model Zmijewski is the most accurate financial distress model with the highest accuracy rate of 93,939% followed by Ohlson and then the Grover model.
