Abstract
One of the cause of flood is the decreasing of green open area for water to get absorbed by the soil on the developing city. When the rain intensity is high, the water directly flow to nearby drainage due to the lack of soil infiltration. To overcome such case, it can be done by using block pavement as an infrastructure to hamper travel time of runoff water.this Final Assignment discesses about the travel time on the surfaces of four types of block pavement using six empiric models in order to know which type suits the best to the block pavement. It can be summarized that the calculation of travel time which has the closest result to the data analysed is Izzard’s model, although it needs a more suitable model for block pavement. This is due to, from model accuracy test, Izzard’s model has not reached efficiency inddex up to 80%, it results NSE=69,1%. From the analysis, it is concluded that the types of block pavementwhich gives the longest travel time is smooth hollow hexagon with sand.
