Abstract

This article was conducted to find out about new methods that advergaming in reaching consumers and also increase the brand awareness that uses advertising on gaming media to communicate the message of the product aimed at consumers. Advantages of advergaming compared to other advertising,is consumer interaction.
While on the other ads (music, movies and animations) are passive, in which consumers can only hear or see without affecting the media itself. The advantages of the advergaming compared to other advertising media, create brand awareness to consumers could be improved as well. Brand awareness is associated with memory function in consumer brand identity and can be reflected how well consumers can identify the brand in a variety of conditions.
The ultimate goal of most businesses is to make profits and increase sales. Business intend to increase consumers and encourage repeat purchases. Advergames present opportunities virus huge brand for the company to exponentially distribute branded content of various audiences. With consumers increasingly shift from traditional media to new forms of electronic entertainment, it's time for brand marketers to "get their game" if they want to maintain a competitive advantage.
