Abstract

Investors invest in a company with expectation to gain a profit. These benefits may include dividends or sale of share back. Management in determining dividend policy is influenced by various factors such as profitability, liquidity, and also the growth of the company. Subject in this study is companies listed in JII during 2011-2013 period. The purpose of this study is to determine whether Current Ratio moderates the influence of Return On Assets, Return On Equity, and Asset Growth of the Dividend Payout Ratio. The population in this study is a company listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in 2011-2013 period as many as 47 companies. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique that obtained a sample of 25 companies. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the JII. The data analysis was done by using moderate regression analysis (test interaction moderation). The results of this study shows that profitability variables do not influence the DPR variable, so that moderation test can not be conducted. There is a negative influence of variable assets growth toward DPR, but the current ratio variable could not moderate the influence of asset growth toward DPR. The results showed that: 1) Current Ratio does not moderate the effect of ROA on DPR, 2) Current Ratio does not moderate the effect of ROE on DPR, 3) Current Ratio does not moderate the effect of asset growth on DPR.
