Abstract
The term metrosexual is a combination of metropolitan and heterosexual terms. It refers to an urban male with strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. Metrosexual segment are willing to spend money to look his best and is perhaps the most promising consumer market for cosmetic and apparel industry nowdays. Every man should hava a skincare regime no matter how minimal. Using basic skincare(moisturizer, lipgloss, face scrub, face wash, and oil control moisturizer). Today's the level competitive not too tight yet and the cosmetic market for man growth more niche. Metrosexual segment are more likely come from upperclass and are hedonistic. Metrosexual consumer are affected by their decision. The purchases form of emotion, mood, and sense. The other factor is price, quality, confident, and features. Comment and opinion from others who have used certain cosmetic product can affect the decision to purchase. It is concluded that metrosexual segment is increasing in terms of number and world of mouth from other consumer very influential for the decision to purchase.
