Abstract

Reform of public sector management in Indonesia in the framework of Good Governance as the idea of New Public Management with institutional reforms in the administration, the government had changed the paradigm Idonesia in public sector management. Any changes will bring both positive and negative consequences that need to be considered by the government and society. New Public Management (NPM) in developed countries has shown success in the occurrence of NPM doctrines enough to make the attention of actors and observers of the public sector in developing countries. The concepts of privatization, transfer service forms that had been handled by the government transferred to the private sector. The concept of bureaucratization and privatization, is believed to have the advantage of being more promising improved performance compared to the classical concept of public administration that is sometimes qualified with corruption, collusion and nepotism. The Indonesian government began to adopt the doctrines of NPM since the economic crisis of 1997. The result of the adoption of the concepts of NPM government to reform the Indonesian government bureaucracy that is implemented in the form of regional autonomy policy, privatization and BLU, in fact faced with many problems to be solved. Control of all parties including the community and the good will of all state officials are expected to reorganize the bureaucracy and management of good governance expected by all the people
