Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability, motivation and performance, then analyze the influence of ability and motivation to work on the performance of Banjarmasin City Council members further analyze the influence of the dominant variable between ability and motivation dominant influence on the performance of Banjarmasin City Council Member. As an analytical tool used in this research is using used validity and reliability of the data, reliability testing performed by Cronbach Alpha test. To determine the influence of ability (X1), motivation (X2) and Performance (Y), regression analysis method is used simultaneously as follows: Ability Test Results (X1), motivation (X2) on Performance (Y) simultaneously on Members of Parliament Banjarmasin. The analysis is linear regression and tested using a distribution table. Based on the research results of this study can be stated that simultaneously it is known that for the ability t = 2.914 *> t (45; 0.05) = 1679 is significant and for Motivation t = 0,944ns
