This article is intended to demonstrate a reading of a literary text, in this case, a novel from the psychological point of view. The method used is rather a hermeneutic. It is based on the assumption that understand involves two aspect namely the grammatical and the psychological. Any text or discours must from part of a linguistic system at it could not be understood unless one has the knowledge of the structure of that system. however, such an utterance is also a human product and has to be understood in relation to the life of the person uttering it. Read in this way, it can be concluded that the last Man's head is not merely about a detective story as many have accused or a murder and violence, it is psychological analysis of the deep basic instinct of men for a certain obsession.
