Abstract
The design of cognitive dissonance on the quality of information is a new phenomenon, as a result of the development of explanatory research on the influence of website quality on consumer purchasing decisions. so the urgency in this study focused on getting a picture of: (1) characteristics of websites that can support business success ; (2) design justification (static and motion graphies) capable of stimulating impression or public perception; And (3) message construction (copy writing) that can change public attitudes according to the expectations of the creator. Through a naturalistic subjective approach, using semi-participatory observational techniques supported by in-depth interviews with three informants, the following research results can be described: (1) the ease of finding information for the public by placing logos, symbols and taglines in strategic positions; (2) journalistic style by always updating information quickly and periodically; (3) trustworthiness of information that prioritizes truth, actuality, and relevance; (4) the integrity of information in textual form with video, photo, and animation reinforced to facilitate public acceptance; (5) spoiling the public by focusing on obtaining satisfaction while receiving information supported by portfolio display, testimony and so on; (6) the dialogue room is focused by providing a means to establish discussion via the internet and face to face with the public.
