Abstract

Kampung Keramik Dinoyo is a collection of small and medium enterprises (UKM) in the
pottery sector which is quite unique in Malang city. Kampung Dinoyo pottery has color
patterns and designs that emphasize the beauty of nature, where patterns of flowers, leaves
and plants form their own characteristics for ceramic crafts from Dinoyo. However, since
2016, visitors to the ceramic village and those interested in ceramic products have continued
to decline, this is due to a lack of innovation and a decline in the marketing process.
Community service aims to innovate ceramic motifs with batik decoration motifs. Batik
Malangan uses decal techniques for decoration and ceramic lamination so as to save
processing time and increase product selling value. The method in this activity is a
participatory approach by involving the objectives in all activities. The decal technique on
the Dinoyo Ceramic Village is able to increase competitiveness and can revive the activities
and fame of the Dinoyo Ceramic Village in the eyes of domestic and abroad.
