Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of authoritarian parenting patterns on aggressive behavior in adolescents in Malang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques in the form of simple linear regression tests and accidental sampling techniques, with the criteria of respondents aged 15-19 years in Malang City, as many as 400 adolescents in Malang City who participated as respondents. Based on the results of data analysis, the significance value is 0.510, greater than the probability of 0.05. Indicates that there is no significant influence between authoritarian parenting patterns on aggressive behavior in adolescents in Malang City. This study shows that authoritarian parenting patterns have no relationship or influence on the tendency of aggressive behavior in adolescents. Indicates that there are several other variations in the causes of aggressive behavior in adolescents in Malang City.
