Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of addiction tendenciesgame online against aggressive behavior in adolescents. This research uses non-experimental quantitative methods and data is collected through questionnaires to 100 respondents. Using sampling techniquespurposive sampling with the criteria of teenagers playinggame online more than 3 hours per day. The data collection process uses two research measuring tools, namely the addiction tendency scalegame online and aggressive behavior scale. Data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis showed that the regression coefficient value was 0.435 with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The results of this study show that there is a tendency towards addictiongame online significant effect on aggressive behavior. Based on the R Square results of 0.299, there is a tendency for addictiongame online had a 29.9% influence on aggressive behavior in adolescents and the remaining 70.1% was influenced by other factors not studied.
