Abstract

In the era of globalization that continues to change, companies need to focus on internal improvement, especially in human resources who play an important role in achieving organizational goals. To achieve the goal, there are things that need to be considered, namely the work commitment and job satisfaction of employees who play a role in determining their level of commitment to work. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of job satisfaction on work commitment among PT. ABC employees. This research uses a quantitative research design, with simple linear regression analysis. The results found that the significance value was 0.001. Decision-making based on significance values of 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the job satisfaction variable has an effect on the work commitment variable. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between job satisfaction and work commitment.
