Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between celebrity worship and consumptive behavior in adolescents. The research method used is quantitative. The sampling technique of nonprobability sampling is 100 respondents, namely teenagers who are K-pop fans in the city of Malang. Psychological scale data collection method refers to the Likert scale. The item scale is celebrity worship and consumptive behavior with a reliability coefficient of 0.860 celebrity worship and 0.959 consumptive behavior. Data analysis using product moment correlation through SPSS. Based on the hypothesis test, it is known that the correlation index is 0.710 and the significant value is 0.0001 (p < 0.05). This suggests that there is a positive relationship between celebrity worship and consumptive behavior, so that the higher celebrity worship, the higher the consumptive behavior of adolescent K-pop fans in Malang, and vice versa.
