Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of fatherless (father absence) on aggression behavior in adolescents. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the principle of causality. The population in this study was 66,785,257 adolescents. The samples used were 100 adolescents aged 12-21 years, with a sampling technique using accidental sampling. The data collection process uses aggression behavior scale instruments and fatherless scale (father absence) in the form of Likert scale. The data analysis technique in this study used a simple linear regression test. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (sig.<0.005) meaning that there was a significant fatherless influence on aggression behavior in adolescents. The R square value shows a result of 0.255 meaning that the effective contribution of fatherless (father absenteece) is 25.5%.
