Abstract
An action of correcting the shortcomings that occurred during the 4.0 industrial revolution, an update was needed which was first initiated by Japan in 2019 and then referred to as society 5.0. The occurrence of society 5.0 not only brought changes in the industrial sector, but also in various fields, including education. A way to participate in realizing society 5.0, one thing that can be done is through digital literacy. However, in practice, oftentimes digital literacy actually brings a bad impact, especially for students. Therefore, the role of educational psychology is needed through digital literacy towards realizing society 5.0. This paper aims to provide an explanation and understanding of the concept of society 5.0, digital literacy, and how the role of educational psychology through digital literacy is to support the realization of society 5.0.
