Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer attachment and consumptive behavior in adolescent Tiktok Shop users. This study uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. The population in this study is not known with certainty (infinite) with sampling techniques using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling type, the subjects in this study amounted to 100 respondents with the criteria of adolescents with an age range of 12 - 18 years and have done learning at Tiktok Shop. Data analysis in this study used product moment correlation analysis. With a correlation coefficient of 0.733 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The results in this study indicate that there is a significant and significant relationship between peer attachment and consumptive behavior in adolescent Tiktok Shop users. The results of the study obtained a positive relationship direction, meaning that the higher the consumptive behavior, the higher the peer attachment in adolescent Tiktok Shop users. Conversely, if consumptive behavior is low, the lower the peer attachment of teenage Tiktok Shop users.
