Abstract

Consumptive behavior can manifest itself in individuals from various backgrounds, including men and women, regardless of geographic location. This research aims to understand the differences in consumer behavior between adolescent girls from NTT who live in their home area and NTT adolescent girls who live in Malang. This study involved 200 NTT adolescent female subjects, divided into two groups: 100 NTT adolescent girls who came from the area of origin of NTT and 100 NTT adolescent girls who lived in Malang. Research subjects were selected using incidental sampling techniques, and research data was collected through the use of a consumer behavior scale designed based on aspects of consumer behavior
identified by Lina and Rosyid. Data were analyzed using the independent sample t-test, with the calculated t value 1.326 < t table 1.972. The results of the t-test show that there is no difference in consumer behavior between NTT adolescent
girls who live in their home area of NTT and NTT adolescent girls who live in Malang. This shows that NTT adolescent girls who live in the area of origin of NTT and NTT adolescent girls who live in Malang have the same tendency to behave consumptive.
